Now here's a place where your marketing message is sure to be viewed: your public restrooms!
I've frequented many businesses that turned their restrooms into an additional opportunity to promote their marketing message. When done correctly, it can pay dividends.
Restroom marketing takes many forms. Here are three ways to get you started:
1) On the walls
The most common place to display your message will be on the walls inside the restroom. Many companies display 2' x 2' or 3' x 4' displays enclosed behind plexiglass. Some of the companies messages I've seen incorporated a little humor into their ads. Some plexiglass displays can be installed that allow for easy change-out of posters.
2) On the inside doors in the stalls
I've also seen the inside doors in the stalls contain marketing messages.
3) Over the sinks/faucets
If you really want to be savvy, try incorporating messages over the faucets. Almost everyone (well hopefully everyone) washes their hands, so why not display your brand or message at this point? Some of the really nice faucet displays I've seen were in Las Vegas Casino/Resort bathrooms. These were digital monitors mounted over the faucets that played rotating messages. Just make sure you work with the appropriate contractor to ensure safety!
Displays can be printed posters (with plexiglass covers,) solid custom printed vinyl, or even plot cut vinyl logos, branding or marketing messages.
