I've been in the printing industry for almost 25 years. And it never, ever, ceases to amaze me what I see wrapped in vinyl.
I'm quite certain that 99.9% of the population has no idea how many things they encounter everyday are wrapped in vinyl. From industrial stuff to some of the most beautiful pieces of art. You simply wouldn't know it... unless you were looking for it.
I have two daughters who have very keen eyes. They can spot the vinyl by habit (after all, they've been raised in a family of printers and marketers:)
"Daddy, there's a seam: that's vinyl not paint!"
"Dad, take a look at this, this installer got off on his seams."
"Dad, I see the seams, look up there!"
So being in the business, I spot these things, and my daughters can catch vinyl installs in a split second.
One of our family's favorite places to vacation is in Las Vegas. And you can guess that this city is built on vinyl! Everywhere!
One of my favorite vinyl coverings is on a pop (soda) machine at the Venetian. It's a pop machine that looks like it's covered in tile. You wouldn't know it's vinyl unless you looked closely.
And so goes it for many of the murals and wall coverings in Vegas as well as many other places around the world. Vinyl Baby. All over the place!
So I started thinking today about all the things that Lets Go Banners has vinyl wrapped. Not just the normal stuff, but maybe some interesting stuff.
The first thing that came to mind was a vinyl wrap we provided for a shopping center to replicate "Santa's Work Shop." All 100% made of vinyl banner material. Here's a link to our "Santa's Work Shop 100% vinyl"
And then there are the many resorts that we've made "fine wood finishes" for their pool signs, directional signs, and all kinds of other signs. Wood? no. Fine wood? definitely not. Vinyl? you bet.
But it makes sense.
Making "permanent" wood signs costs a lot of money; it may not last long, and often times, the resort's plans change which may render their old signs obsolete.
Here's a cool vinyl wrapped kiosk our Hawaii Team installed this week in Hilo, Hawaii.
But the list goes on, we've wrapped cars, trucks, vans, helmets, signs, lunch wagons, mail boxes, walls, ceilings, floors, windows, computers, monitors, RV's, doors, table-tops, refrigeration units, kiosks, barricades, retail spaces, ......and the list goes on.
Cheers,
Chris

Sure, banners are technically considered "temporary" signage. But exactly what does "temporary" mean? A month? A year? 5 years? How long will my banner last?
